BESCHREIBUNG: IBM is launching an updated "branding" of the e-business on demand campaign and moving away from the term \'e-business\' and embracing the term \'on demand business\'.Our strategy is ‘On Demand Business’ NOT ‘on demand’. Use of ‘on demand’ is as an adjective (e.g. on demand era, on demand world) and should never be a stand-alone expression. Should be written in all lower case letters, unless used in a title, heading or the beginning of a sentence. On Demand Business should be in all initial caps when referring to IBM’s definition of On Demand Business, or is used to refer to IBM’s
initiative called On Demand Business, or used to refer to the nature of an offering and not the offering itself. Should never be hyphenated, used in a plural version, abbreviated or used as an acronym. No products, solutions, offerings, events, meetings etc may use ‘on
demand’ or ‘On Demand Business’ in the name without approval through the corporate naming process. The terms “e-business”, “e-business on demand” and the red “e-business” logo are being phased out. However, products with red e-business logo in them, specifically eServer and e-business Hosting, are not changing.
