The IBM System Storage TS3500 Tape Library is designed to provide a highly scalable, automated tape library for mainframe and open systems backup and archive in midrange to enterprise environments. Physical space is a huge problem for data centers today as they look to consolidate, so the IBM System Storage TS3500 high density tape storage library frame is being introduced that can hold up to three-times more cartridges in the same footprint in just 10 square feet of floor space.
