BESCHREIBUNG: Ricoh und IBM gaben am 25.1.2007 die Gründung eines Joint-Ventures auf der Basis der IBM Printing Systems Division bekannt. Ricoh als global operierendes und führendes Unternehmen im Bereich digitaler Bürolösungen verstärkt damit sein Portfolio mit Lösungen für den Produktionsdruck. Als Bestandteil des Vertrags zwischen IBM und Ricoh wird Ricoh bei Abschluss zunächst 51 Prozent der InfoPrint Solutions Company und im Laufe der nächsten drei Jahre schrittweise die verbleibenden 49 Prozent übernehmen, so dass das Joint Venture zu einer hundertprozentigen Tochter von Ricoh wird. Over the next three years InfoPrint Solutions Company will evolve into a fully owned subsidiary of Ricoh.
