Watson Research Center - Yorktown, New York, USA (Research @ Yorktown Heights, NY). In 1961, IBM moved from its humble beginnings in a renovated fraternity house near Columbia University to the T.J. Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, New York. The better researchers understand fundamental physical properties and materials, the better the chance they'll find tomorrow's technology applications. IBM is doing research related to life sciences, and exploring physics at the boundary with computer science, trying to better understand network dynamics and improve pattern recognition.
